Circana Names New CFO

Circana, a prominent consumer insights firm, has announced the promotion of Holly Knightly to Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective August 12. Knightly, who previously served as the Executive Vice President of global finance, performance, and transformation, will now lead the finance and strategy organization globally. This includes overseeing planning, strategy, accounting, treasury, tax, reporting, and investor relations.

Knightly replaces Anne Bramman, who successfully integrated the strategies and operations of Circana’s heritage companies, IRI and The NPD Group, following their merger. Kirk Perry, president and CEO of Circana, expressed confidence in Knightly’s capabilities, noting her exemplary leadership and proven success in dynamic environments at both public and private companies.

In her new role, Knightly animatedly acknowledged the significance of this transition for Circana, emphasizing the firm’s commitment to guiding brands and retailers toward sustainable growth. Her leadership is expected to further enhance Circana’s reputation for delivering exceptional consumer insights and expertise to over 7,000 clients worldwide.

Bramman praised the team’s achievements during her tenure and is optimistic about Circana’s continued progress in understanding consumer behavior complexities. Since its merger, Circana has positioned itself as a key player in the consumer insights market, which is increasingly vital in navigating today’s complex retail landscape.

As Circana continues adapting to market demands, Knightly’s appointment signals a robust strategy for future growth, aiming to maintain the company’s leadership role in the consumer insights field.
