Logicalis has made a significant move by opening a new office in Malaysia, a development aimed at enhancing its operations throughout the Asia Pacific (APAC) region. This facility marks a strategic convergence of regional teams, including the integration of Logicalis and iZeno, creating a centralized hub for improved services.
The new office is designed to support local customers with cutting-edge solutions in security, artificial intelligence (AI), application modernization, hybrid cloud, and modern work environments. A noteworthy aspect of this expansion is the establishment of an expanded Security Operations Center (SOC), which is crucial for elevating Logicalis’s security offerings across APAC. This state-of-the-art SOC will provide advanced threat detection and response services, fortifying the company’s capabilities to handle security incidents effectively.
Chong-Win Lee, CEO of Logicalis APAC, commented on the investment in Malaysia, stating that it aligns with the company’s long-term vision to better serve its clients and engage with the local community. The SOC in Malaysia complements existing centers in Singapore, China, Taiwan, and Indonesia, enabling faster responses and localized support.
The new office and SOC are part of Logicalis’s broader strategy to bolster its APAC presence and deliver exceptional value to clients. With approximately 300 employees expected to work in this facility, the company aims to quickly adapt to market demands and enhance customer experiences.
This expansion underlines Logicalis’s commitment to the APAC region, showcasing its determination to invest in innovative solutions and effective support systems. The grand opening event not only celebrated the launch but also highlighted Logicalis’s future aspirations in the thriving APAC market.
