Casper’s Ice Cream Names New CEO

Casper’s Ice Cream has made a significant leadership change by appointing Russell Stokes as its new CEO. Stokes brings over two decades of experience in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) sector, including his previous role as CEO of KIND Snacks North America following its acquisition by Mars Inc. His extensive background also includes strategic positions at Mars, Whirlpool Corp., and the Boston Consulting Group, where he played pivotal roles in corporate strategy and growth.

The managing director at MidOcean, Daniel Penn, expressed enthusiasm for Stokes’ proven track record in driving innovation and growth for well-known brands. “We look forward to leveraging his leadership and expertise as we continue to build on our successes,” Penn commented. Stokes himself expressed excitement about leading Casper’s iconic brands, stating, “Casper’s reputation for producing high-quality frozen treats precedes itself.”

Founded in 1925 and based in Richmond, Utah, Casper’s Ice Cream is known for its FatBoy Premium Ice Cream and Jolly Llama brands. With Stokes at the helm, the company aims to enhance the customer experience and solidify its market position by continuing to deliver exceptional frozen treats for generations to come.

As the CPG landscape continues to evolve, the leadership of experienced individuals like Stokes will be crucial in navigating new challenges and seizing growth opportunities in the competitive frozen dessert market.
