Lidl US Signs Lease With Affordable Housing Organization in NYC

In a significant step towards enhancing food accessibility in New York City, Lidl US has reached an agreement with Grand Street Guild, a nonprofit focused on affordable housing. This partnership will bring a new 23,000-square-foot grocery store to the Lower East Side, marking Lidl’s third store in Manhattan. The location at 408 Grand Street is strategically positioned within a complex that has served the community for over 50 years, providing homes for more than 1,500 residents across 600 units.

Grand Street Guild, affiliated with Catholic Homes of the Archdiocese of New York, has a rich history of supporting families on the Lower East Side.
