Natural Grocers Expands Own Brand of Sports Supplements

by Valery Nilsson

Natural Grocers is making a notable impact in the sports supplements market by introducing two new electrolyte products under its private brand. The company emphasizes quality with its offerings, which include Electrolyte Powder and Electrolyte Capsules, both certified to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). This certification ensures that the products maintain high standards of purity and potency, appealing to health-conscious consumers.

The Electrolyte Powder is crafted from magnesium, sodium, and potassium, incorporating Redmond’s Real Salt, and is free from artificial colors and fillers. Priced at $14.49 for a 4-ounce container, it provides 60 servings, making it an accessible option for those engaged in physical activity. In contrast, the Electrolyte Capsules, available for $15.99 in a 90-count bottle, feature Himalayan Pink Salt along with the same essential minerals, offering convenience for on-the-go consumers.

Raquel Isely, VP of marketing at Natural Grocers, highlights the company’s commitment to sustainability and non-GMO certified products, noting that their assortment includes over 5,000 SKUs of vitamins and supplements. The retailer has been steadily expanding its private label since its establishment in 2016, now featuring more than 800 products.

With its focus on quality and sustainability, Natural Grocers reflects a growing trend in the food retail sector, positioning itself among the top food retailers in North America. As consumers increasingly seek products that align with their health and wellness goals, Natural Grocers is poised to meet this demand effectively.
