Ollie’s Bargain Outlet Holdings Inc. has made a significant move in customer engagement by partnering with fintech company Sunbit to introduce a co-branded Visa credit card. This innovative card aims to enhance the shopping experience for Ollie’s customers, providing them with unique rewards and benefits, as stated by Eric van der Valk, the company’s president. He highlighted how this initiative complements their existing Ollie’s Army loyalty program, thereby generating more value for customers.
The new Ollie’s credit card offers cardholders the chance to earn points on purchases not only at Ollie’s stores but also everywhere Visa is accepted. Key perks include a $10 statement credit upon sign-up and automatic enrollment in Ollie’s Army loyalty program for non-members. Members can earn an additional point for every $2 spent at Ollie’s, and the same applies to external Visa purchases.
Sunbit, known for its customer-friendly approach, promises no fees and high approval rates, further enhancing the card’s appeal. CEO Arad Levertov emphasized the collaboration’s focus on equitable credit access, likening the credit card to a pivotal tool in fostering customer loyalty and elevating shopping experiences.
Ollie’s strategic implementation of this credit card program will not only solidify its brand presence but also promote long-term loyalty in an increasingly competitive sector. With 522 stores across 31 states, Ollie’s commitment to enhancing customer experience through innovative solutions is clear, positioning it as a leader in the closeout retail market.
