Save A Lot, DoorDash Partner for On-Demand Grocery Delivery

In a significant development for budget-conscious consumers, Save A Lot has teamed up with DoorDash, now enabling more than 400 of its grocery stores to offer on-demand delivery services. This partnership allows customers to order high-quality fresh products at competitive prices with the convenience of same-day delivery—typically within an hour. As grocery prices continue to rise, this collaboration addresses a pressing need within the community.

A key enhancement set to launch later this year is the integration of SNAP/EBT payment capabilities on DoorDash for eligible shoppers. This feature will enable consumers using government assistance benefits to access SNAP-eligible groceries online from participating Save A Lot stores. As of now, over 1.5 million users have successfully linked their SNAP/EBT cards with DoorDash since the platform began supporting these payments earlier this year.

To celebrate the partnership, Save A Lot is offering new customers a promotion running from July 26 to September 30, providing 30% off eligible orders of $50 or more with the promo code SAL30. Additionally, participating locations are included in DashPass, DoorDash’s membership program, which features $0 delivery fees and reduced service fees.

Founded in 1977, Save A Lot operates over 800 stores across 32 states and is recognized as one of North America’s top food retailers. As consumer behaviors shift toward online grocery shopping, this collaboration with DoorDash exemplifies a strategic move to enhance accessibility and affordability, reinforcing both companies’ commitment to serving their communities effectively.
