Town & Country Markets Unveils Innovative Market-to-Table Restaurant
Town & Country (T&C) Markets, an independent grocer in the Puget Sound region, has recently launched Field House, a groundbreaking market-to-table restaurant that merges grocery shopping with dining. Partnering with acclaimed chef Ethan Stowell, T&C Markets has crafted a menu that highlights seasonal ingredients and local suppliers, reflecting the essence of regional culinary preferences.
Ryan Ritter, CEO of T&C Markets, emphasized the passion for food that drives this initiative: “Field House allows us to create a real sense of place by bringing our best foods and the community together.” The restaurant’s menu features beloved classics like pizza, burgers, and sandwiches, all presented with unique twists.
Weekend brunch is a standout feature, boasting items such as Macrina cinnamon rolls, Nutella pancakes, and a smoked salmon-spinach scramble. Additionally, a carefully curated beer and wine list complements the dining experience, ensuring every meal is paired perfectly.
Stowell’s involvement brings immense value, known for his ability to create dishes that are both simple and rich in flavor. He stated, “T&C has the best ingredients in the city… our Field House team has them at their fingertips to create seasonal, fresh dishes.”
Field House opened its doors on July 19 at T&C’s Mill Creek location, with plans for expansion to other stores in Lakemont and Poulsbo. This innovative approach not only transforms the grocery shopping experience but also redefines how communities can interact with local food markets. The philosophy behind Field House resonates with T&C’s dedication to quality, community engagement, and culinary excellence.
