Wegmans Food Markets has partnered with DoorDash, the thriving local commerce platform, to expand grocery delivery services. This collaboration now allows customers in Maryland to receive groceries from all Wegmans locations through DoorDash, with more states like Virginia, North Carolina, New Jersey, Delaware, and upstate New York expected to follow shortly.

This partnership builds on the successful Wegmans Meals 2GO program that has already been serving hot, freshly prepared meals directly to customers’ homes. Fuad Hannon, VP of new verticals at DoorDash, articulated the momentum in their growth. He noted that their grocery business is expanding rapidly, with new verticals seeing record highs in orders.
