With 42% of consumers worried about retailers’ capability to safeguard personal data and 31% concerned about potential data breaches, the stakes are undeniably high. Moreover, 53% of transportation and logistics workers reported anxiety over the security of customer data if mobile devices are compromised. SOTI’s research indicates that e-commerce workers on average lose 16 hours monthly to mobile device issues—an alarming statistic that shows little improvement since previous surveys. “For e-commerce, tech disruptions often mean missed deadlines and unhappy customers,” Dyson points out.
