Despite this acknowledgment, challenges remain. More than a quarter of channel partners struggle to identify the best solutions for their clients. As businesses increasingly seek sophisticated technologies, the necessity for industry-specific expertise becomes paramount. In fact, 84% of channel partners affirmed that sector specialization is crucial for maintaining competitiveness. This sentiment is echoed by 74% of end-users who prefer collaborating with vendors possessing specialized knowledge in their respective industries, whether that be finance, retail, or automotive.

In this complex environment, flexibility, education, and innovation emerge as critical success factors. Nearly 80% of end-users are aligning their business and technology strategies, creating opportunities for channel partners to provide strategic advice. The completion of 250 online interviews with IT and telecom decision-makers and 57 channel partners in September 2024 provided vital insights into these trends.
